A small village along the East cost of Chiba prefecture during winter season

February 2018: it was a moment when I needed a break from everything so I decided to spend a night alone on a small village located along the East coast of Chiba prefecture. I decided to bring with me only my film cameras. The film grainy texture always gives the feeling that the pictures are coming from the past and in a way the feeling that you have when you visit a small rural village coming from the metropolis is a bit that one: a window to the past. Small scattered houses cladded in rusted metal, lush vegetation and the “roar” of the sea in winter…. all I needed was there.
